Know about the Head Coach of the Unsuccessful Indian Premier League Franchises

The teams who are currently playing in IPL and have not been able to win a single IPL title yet in the past eleven seasons so far are Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils which is now renamed as Delhi Capitals, and Kings XI Punjab.

One of the most popular teams of IPL which is led by the current Indian Captain Virat Kohli is Royal Challengers Bangalore which has not been able to win a single IPL season. RCB has got all that which is needed to win the IPL season.

RCB was the runner-ups in the three IPL seasons that is 2009, 2011 and 2016 but unfortunately lost all the IPL seasons. The head coach of the RCB is Gary Kirsten who was appointed in the year 2018 by RCB.

Gary Kirsten is a former South African cricketer and was also the coach of Indian National Cricket Team from 2008-2011. Under his coaching, Team India won the ICC Cricket World Cup.

Another popular team who could win any IPL season is Kings XI Punjab which is co-owned by the popular Bollywood actress Preity Zinta. KXIP did not win any IPL but was runner-up in IPL 2014 which they lost against the Kolkata Knight Riders.

The head coach of Kings XI Punjab is Mike Hesson. He is the former head coach of the New Zealand National Cricket Team. He also coached Argentina, Kenya, and Otago in NZ domestic cricket.

Delhi Daredevils which is now renamed as Delhi Capitals ahead of IPL 2019 has also not won any IPL title yet. The team is one of the weakest team of IPL as they also could manage to appear in the IPL finals.

The team is coached by the Australian former cricketer Ricky Ponting who is regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. Even after having the best coach, the team is unable to win any IPL. It will be interesting to see if the change in name brings luck to the team or not.
